PHOENIX RANCH: Sales List

LESSER JARDINES PARROTS
We have a large selection of Lesser Jardines from 6 months to 2 years old The older ones have bright orange crowns. Some are missing toe tips but get around just great. (In fact, these cute little guys are my personal favorites.) They are interactive and inquisitive and ready for new homes. They can be a bit shy with strangers, but will warm up fine when they get to their new homes. Reg. $500 Reduced to $325(plus tax)!
BTW, it's not a bad thing to get an older Jardine. They tend to go through a rather rambunctious nippy stage (terrible twos or teenage years) before mellowing out into nicer pets.
GREATER JARDINES PARROTS
CONGO AFRICAN GREYS
We have one left from this year's hatch ready to go and another that is almost weaned. The older one has become independent but will settle into family life with people when she leaves her buddies (we will be working with her separately this month.) The baby is very sweet, gentle and interactive. She climbs out of her box to go sleep with Ray under his blanket. $900 each (plus tax)
Wil & Grace are a pair of greys that were set up as breeders but both talk and like being around people. Ray picks them up on occasion. ($1200 for the pair)
Daisy was put in a breeding situation but didn't like it. She plucked a lot of her feathers. Since she came to us, we found she LOVES to snuggle with men and is growing her feathers back. She talks when she thinks nobody is looking. ($550)
AMERICAN MINIATURE HORSES
Well-socialized horses of various ages---stallions, fillies, geldings, mares. These are all part of our close-knit family but will part with them if we can find the perfect homes. They each have their own personalities, talents and repertoire of silly pet tricks. Many are registered AMHA/AMHR or are eligible for registration.
PREMIUM PET LAYING HENS
We are currently raising Laying Hens as part of the CETA Foundation programs. Cinnamon Queens (Red Star, Red-sexlinked) are very people-friendly and prolific layers. Delawares are big, beautiful and like to be held. Barred Rocks like to hang out with people. All lay brown eggs. A great way to have a piece of the country in your own backyard, and produce your own organic eggs! Plus, nothing is as soft as a healthy little hen in your arms. We raise a limited number because we want to give them enough attention to make them friendly. We do take deposits for future placements and can special order different breeds for you, too. (see www.cetafoundation.com/chickenproject for more info and pictures.)
