LESSER JARDINES PARROTS

We have a large selection of Lesser Jardines from 6 months to 2 years old The older ones have bright orange crowns.  Some are missing toe tips but get around just great. (In fact, these cute little guys are my personal favorites.)  They are interactive and inquisitive and ready for new homes.  They can be a bit shy with strangers, but will warm up fine when they get to their new homes.  Reg. $500 Reduced to $325(plus tax)

BTW, it's not a bad thing to get an older Jardine.  They tend to go through a rather rambunctious nippy stage (terrible twos or teenage years) before mellowing out into nicer pets.

CONGO AFRICAN GREYS

We don't have any babies available right now, but when they are available, they are  $900 each (plus tax)

Wil & Grace are a pair of greys that were set up as breeders but both talk, "meow" and like being around people.  Grace likes to be held by people.  Wil is a bit more reluctant but will step up with work.  ($1200 for the pair)

Benson is a 12 year old male that was handfed but now shy with people.  He is accustom to living in an outdoor flight cage like the others.  We are planning to work with him to see if he can adapt to a life as a pet again ($500)

Stubs has no feet but climbs around the cages and perckes just like any other bird.  He has a tendency to hurl himself off the cages and bump his chest, so should go to a home where the landing surface is softer than the wood planking on our porch. (His brother, who doesn't have this issue, is staying.)  He says a few words and like to watch Qubo chanel.  He enjoys wandering around the floor asking for food from people sitting around watching TV.  Asking $400 donation to CETA Foundation.

AMERICAN MINIATURE HORSES

Well-socialized horses of various ages---stallions, fillies, geldings, mares.  These are all part of our close-knit family but will part with them if we can find the perfect homes.  They each have their own personalities, talents and repertoire of silly pet tricks.  Many are registered AMHA/AMHR or are eligible for registration.  Let us know if you'd like to see if one will fit in your family!  $800-$2000

PREMIUM PET LAYING HENS

We are currently raising  Laying Hens as part of the CETA Foundation programs.  Cinnamon Queens (Red Star, Red-sexlinked) are very people-friendly and prolific layers.  Barred Rocks like to hang out with people the most of all the breeds we've had.  All lay brown eggs. A great way to have a piece of the country in your own backyard, and produce your own organic eggs!  Plus, nothing is as soft as a healthy little hen in your arms.  We raise a limited number because we want to give them enough attention to make them friendly.  We do take deposits for future placements and can special order different breeds for you, too.  (see  www.cetafoundation.com/chickenproject  for more info and pictures.)

COCKATIELS!

MONTH OLD CHICKS

Our cockatiels are raised in the house with lots of room to roam (like all our other birds.)  This makes them friendly and curious and full of personality.  We have one named "Boomerang" because she will fly right back when you try to get her to fly to her cage.  "Macaroni" (a feather on our hat) rides along with our ranch tours and goes with us to events.  The others climb up your clothes to sit on your shoulder and find out what you're eating.  We have combinations of pied, cinnamon, whiteface & pearl. Handraised only $60!  Also, we have three parent birds (wild) for sale as well $45
